Friday was a cool day. People are doing some really exciting things: Lets see people in SA are exploring lots of web2 stuff. From podcasting, digital storytelling, mobile learning, onlineclassrooms, myspace, blogging and more more. Elluminating, researching other classrooms, best practice research, which things fit best with which bandwidths etc etc. E-learning is being used in TAFE, private RTOs, collaborative ventures; it goes on and on. Childcare, horticultire, indiginous communities, young people, sexual health, customer service, defence, engineering - The applications are everywhere. South Australians are on edna groups, TALO groups, second life, blogger, flickr, Itunes, odeo, skype. You just cant get away from us. LEARNSCOPE ROCKS and is changing the way that teaching and learning is viewed by South Australians.

We are discussing e-learning at every opportunity in Start up sessions, Learnscope gatherings,
Edayz (booked out months in advance). Communities of practice are merging and becoming just 'community' and finding out just what that means. For instance questions are being asked:
How can you be honest and safe at the same time?
How can you learn from your avatar?
How can this be so new and exciting for me but just so so for my 15 year old?
What IS public? What IS private?
One of the best outcomes for me in this learnscope year is that peope are looking BEYOND the tools and asking WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
Keep on asking.
